Men can greatly influence their children’s academic outcomes by being involved in their children’s schoolwork, and by reading and sharing stories with them regularly. It is not too late to start reading to your children even if it is via a phone call. See how you could make a difference as a father https://bit.ly/3GAzicf #Nalibali #familyliteracy

The Yizani Sifunde team uses boxes and newspaper supplements to create small bookshelves for ECDs and homes that are part of the project in East London, Eastern Cape. This weekend, make a dedicated reading space using a cardboard box for a bookshelf and a blanket to sit on. Share your pictures of your reading area with us in the comments.
Yizani Sifunde is a collaboration between Nal’ibali, Book Dash, and
Wordworks, funded by the Liberty Group SA. #Nalibali
