Before I didn't know how to read a story and share to learners but after attending my workshop in Mbazwane in KZN I came out a changed male teacher in foundation phase. I so wish that I could have a refresher workshop because now I am now working in Limpopo at Mabeba Primary School
Since signing up as FUNda Leader in 2016 and believing that my stories were only fore children...I now know better as my Intergenerational storytelling sessions have become my speciality. The stories I have to share are welcomed in libraries, schools, churches and on the side of the road...wherever eager listeners are ready for a story.
Before nalibali : I was not thinking of helping children's from my community with Reading aloud , storytelling , poetry's and to engage parent of children's After nalibali: I know to know how to do what was impossible for me to do. I really appreciated a lot for the support I received from nalibali Don't stop at me , continue doing right thing. To other communities so on I am the light of my new generation, I am good example also I thank you
Hey FUNda Leader!
You've been a member of Nal'ibali for a while now or maybe you just joined the movement - whatever the case is, we're glad to have you on board.
This week we're asking, how has Nal'ibali changed your life? Share your before and after story with the rest of the FUNda Leader community.
Eg: Before Nal'ibali I did not understand what it meant to read aloud to a child.
After Nal'ibali I know have the skills and techniques to do storytelling in a fun way with children.
